It doesn’t matter what your style is, there is sure to be a wedding cake to fit it! Each year more and more elaborate and inventive cake designs hit the tables.

Texture. Whether it is the way frosting is used, or artwork on fondant frosting, or artistic florals. The cake speaks for itself on its stand.
Another trend is to frost a cake to mimic the wedding dress. If the dress is embossed with a particular floral design bring that design to the covering of the cake. Tucks and folds in the wedding dress? Mimic the same on the outside of the cake. When selecting your cake to take a picture of the dress to your wedding cake designer and create a unique focal point for the reception space
The Naked Wedding Cake. That’s right, don’t like a lot of frosting? There are layers of cake, with some fillings between them and decorations, but please hold the frosting. These cakes can have a very elegant look, but can also be used in a more rustic wedding.
Macaroons (Macaron)

Cake Tops
From bling to look-alikes, to flowers or decorative frosting, the top of the cake sets it off! A bride and groom on top of the cake have gone whimsical. They are dancing, leaning, dragging, lifting, kissing, having fun (just like you should have at your wedding). Little people, not your style? Try a letter of the new couple’s last name, a “love” cutout (perhaps in a foreign language).

Whether you want real or sugared flowers, this trend never goes out of style. And given the variety of flowers available, it can change the look of your wedding cake from very sophisticated, say with Peonies to more casual if you were to choose daisies. Your florist can usually bring additional flowers to put on your cake after it has been delivered. Or, if you choose sugar flowers, your wedding cake designer may decorate your cake with these confectionery delights.

And don’t forget pink! Although it wanes and rebounds over the years, pink cannot be overlooked. It is always a favorite of girly girls around the world.
Groom’s Cake
Let’s hear it for the groom! Design a smaller cake in a favorite pastime, hobby, book, sport, or occupation. Share it! The cake may be served to the wedding party and family members as a special something “extra”.

Portable, easy and offers variety. Cupcakes allow for different types of flavors and frosting for your wedding. They may be included as miniatures on sweets or Venetian table or placed on tiers, or a substitution for a big wedding cake altogether.
