My wedding was 12-29-00. I have yet to send out my thank you notes, one reason is that I lost my notebook with the names & gifts listed in it. My question is, should I mention the time frame for example, it has been nearly a year, but we want to thank you for your gift or should I just thank them for the gift?

My feeling is that you could write, “Please forgive my late thank you for your delightful wedding gift. John and I deeply appreciate your thoughtfulness and enjoy using your…………..” or words to that effect. I hope this helps.
